  • Free identification and authentication services for potential ambergris specimens

  • Facilitation of ambergris purchases and sales (following successful authentication)
  • Educational content and information about ambergris

4. AUTHENTICATION AND IDENTIFICATION PROCESS

4.1 Free Service

Our identification service is provided free of charge.

4.2 Methods

Identification may be conducted through:

  • Physical examination of specimens sent to us
  • Remote assessment via photographs and descriptions

4.3 Discretionary Determination

Ambergris Canada reserves the sole right to determine the authenticity of any specimen. Our determination is final and based on our expertise and proprietary methods.

4.4 No Guarantee

While we apply our expertise diligently, we make no guarantees regarding authentication outcomes.

5. FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

5.1 Conditional Transactions

Financial transactions occur only after positive authentication of legitimate ambergris.

5.2 No Refunds for Non-Ambergris

If a specimen is determined not to be ambergris, no payments, exchanges, or refunds apply.

5.3 Offline Processing

All financial transactions are negotiated and processed offline following authentication.

5.4 International Trade

We facilitate international trade in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

6. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

6.1 Regulatory Compliance

All ambergris traded through our Services must be naturally found or beached specimens. We do not deal in ambergris obtained through whale hunting or harvesting.

6.2 CITES Compliance

We operate in accordance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) guidelines, which recognize naturally excreted ambergris as outside regulatory restrictions.

6.3 Country-Specific Restrictions

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws. Ambergris trade is prohibited in certain jurisdictions, including:

  • Legal consequences of ambergris possession in your jurisdiction
  • Loss or damage to specimens during shipping
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for Services in the six months preceding the claim.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ambergris Canada, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our Services or violation of these Terms.
